Trump Cheers 2020 Election Doc ‘Rigged’ at Mar-a-Lago Premiere

President Donald J. Trump joined hundreds of MAGA luminaries, supporters of Citizens United and cast members of the documentary Rigged: The Zuckerberg Funded Plot to Defeat Donald Trump, which exposes how Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent $400 million to rig the 2020 election against Trump, at its April 5, 2022 premiere.

David Bossie, the president of Citizens United and one of the executive producers of the film, told the crowd that completing the film and having it premiere at the president’s Palm Beach, Florida, resort Mar-a-Lago was a dream come true.

In his own remarks, the president said that he used to say that without borders, you have no country, but now he says you need borders and honest elections.

Trump told the audience he loves movies like Citizen Kane, Gone with the Wind and Titanic, but this is the one movie he really wanted to see.

Attorney Cleta Mitchell, a member of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, said that she got involved in the film, because Americans need to hear the story of how Zuckerberg used tax-deductible funds to swing an election in violation of the IRS code.

Elections Integrity attorney Christina Bobb said that the research into what happened in 2020 documented in Rigged is just the beginning, and across the country, states are tightening up their laws to prevent the irregularities that Zuckerberg financed from happening again.
